My birthday is June 4th. I will be turning 27. I decided to give myself a list of 27 things I want to accomplish by then. I am not much for New Year resolutions, but I do love to set goals and make to-do lists. I will try to blog about each item I cross off the list over the next few months.
Do something I have never done before in my hometownDo something that scares meReplace one average item I use everyday with something that is interesting and I loveRead a book from a religion that differs from my ownLet go of 3 grudges- Plant a garden
- Finish a quiet book for Mia
- Go offline for 3 days
Try 5 new recipesMake cloud dough with MiaGive something broken a new lifeGet rid of 15 things from my closetBuy or pick flowers for no reason- Have my girlfriends over for a meal
Write 5 thank you notes, just because.Say yes to one thing I would usually say no toExercise at least 5 days a week- Monthly date night
- Make a Honeymoon photo album
- Find a recipe for squash that I actually enjoy
- Sew a project just for me
- Fix my pearl necklace
Go on a picnic. With a basket, blanket, and plates.Get chickensGo to the farmers market and make a meal using only the items I purchaseLet someone come over to my house even if it isn't clean(this could go under something that scares me)Watch the sunset
This should be fun and doable. I think I will start my 28 by twenty-eight sooner and make my list a little more challenging. I am excited to accomplish this list. One goal I should probably add to the list is letting go of any guilt for not accomplishing something on this list.
Oh dear, you've inspired me and my list is going to be almost twice as long as yours. Luckily, I have the day off today.
