My sister in law was in CA for a few days from Hawaii. We went on a couple of hikes while she was here. My favorite was probably at Fern Canyon. It is a long drive, but totally worth it. It started out very cold, but once we got moving we all warmed up.
What a neat place. It was fun to spend time with my husbands family and watch Mia explore nature. It is nice to feel like I actually did something with my day. Often times my husbands days off are kind of a catch up around the house and running errands. It was nice to spend time as a family with nothing that had to be done.
If you are ever in Northern California it is a must. Now onto a very picture heavy post.
