I jumped on the green smoothie band wagon a couple months ago. I had been juicing occasionally, but wanted a change. I tried a few different recipes and made one up of my own. I don't really follow a recipe, but I will try to put one together for you.
I start with a whole frozen banana, an apple(peeled, cored, and chopped), 1/4 cup of frozen peaches, a cup of yogurt(whatever flavor I have, usually honey Greek), 1 stalk of kale(washed and sliced off of stalk), a handful(about a cup) of spinach, and a sprinkle of chia seeds.
Then I add a cup of water and I blend it until it is smooth.
Then I add about 7 ice cubes and blend that up until smooth.
Today I tried freezing them as popsicles for the Baby Lady.
She loves them, so obviously we have them everyday.
