Too Real?

I am linking up again with Blythe for One Hot Mess . This picture may border on too real. I am kind of terrible about piling everything on my dresser. I have Mia's puzzles there because if I leave them down for her I find the pieces everywhere. So, I keep them there so when she wants to do a puzzle I can take them down and we can do it together. "Why not put them in a closet?", you say. Well, that would involve finding a place for them. My sister was up a few weeks ago and I washed the blanket and pillow she used. Our Adventure Part I

I kind of hate it when people refer to something mundane as an adventure. I am hoping that a *nearly* cross country road trip with a 1 and 4 year old sounds adventurous. We are driving from Northern California to Ann Arbor, MI and back home. With lots of stops a long the way. So I am going to fill you in on our first couple of days of our trip. On our first day we drove to Reno. It was a long day and we found out Jack gets car sick. We drove quite possibly the most windy highway in America, so I feel like if you were going to get car sick that would be the stretch that it would happen. He threw up twice. So far that is the only time he has gotten sick. We made it to our hotel in Reno by dinner time. I got an awesome Groupon deal on a hotel there. It was my first time doing a hotel through Groupon , so I was nervous that I wouldn't actually have a reserved room when we arrived. Hulu Minus

So, I have had Hulu Plus for a few months. I enjoyed it for the most part. I hate how many commercials there are for paid service, but it is still less than cable. I put my account on hold in July because there weren't any new episodes starting up again until September. This month my debit card expires, which isn't a big deal. My sister gave me 2 months free Hulu Plus for my birthday. When my hold was about to end I went on the website and applied my gift card to my account and my husband and I watched the premiere of Parenthood (love that show, or have I said that before). Then a couple days later I get an e-mail saying my account has been put on hold because my debit card has expired and they were unable to charge it. "Why do they need to charge my card?" you might ask. I asked the same thing. I sent them an e-mail assuming there had been an oversight. This is the message I got back : Thanks for writing! I am really sorry for the trouble with the gift card.
